The Inspiration
The project was to show how Tesla could market itself to more people. With that, I marketed the green aspect of Tesla as well as incorporating Uber. Those two thoughts made me think of if Uber drivers could drive Tesla’s to pick people up, it would be almost like them test driving is part of their schedule and also Uber would benefit because they could market going green.
The Technique
For the first ad I wanted to market Tesla being carbon admissions free without incorporating the basic green color to indicate a “green” product. For the second ad I wanted to incorporate the process of ordering an Uber and showing Tesla at the same time. With both of those concepts, I wanted to make sure that this ad looked like an ad from Tesla by using their brand guidelines.
The Details
I used trees cut out into a Tesla to make the reader see that Tesla is allowing trees to live unlike other carbon admission vehicles. For the second ad I used a text message alert from Uber indicated that the Uber has arrived in a Tesla. I used a black background in both ads to show the cohesion as well as matching both Tesla and Uber’s brands.
