The Inspiration
My love for children has always been unconditional. The inspiration for this project was very clear; helping helpless children.
The Technique
When designing this brand there were several things I took into consideration. I wanted this brand to be kid friendly because after all, it’s for the children. With that in mind I used softer variations of the primary colors to make sure of the fact that this was a children’s cancer research organization. With the children in mind, my secondary audience were the people who take care of these children (parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents and/or friends). I made sure to incorporate a sans-serif modern font as well as a light grey to insure the credibility of this organization was clear.
The Details
I felt as though subtle details would make this design strong without taking away from the severity of a children’s Cancer research organization. When creating a name I chose to incorporate the word “gold” which is the color of the children’s cancer ribbon. I also chose to incorporate the children’s cancer ribbon as the “L” in gold.
